Dr. Ravi Ganeshappa, M.D.

Dr. Ravi Ganeshappa, the son of Dr. K. P. Ganeshappa, attended medical school at UTHSC-San Antonio. He then completed his training in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at UT-Southwestern in Dallas. He treats and studies diseases of the esophagus, stomach, colon, small intestine, liver, gallbladder, and pancreas. He performs colonoscopies, esophagogastroduodenoscopies (EGD) and Endoscopic Retrograde cholangiopancreatographies (ERCP).

Dr. Ganeshappa’s primary hospital affiliations are with Downtown Santa Rosa, the Nix Hospital, and South Texas Regional Medical Center in Jourdanton (STRMC). He also has privileges at Metropolitan Methodist, Southwest General, and Downtown Baptist. Dr. Ganeshappa has served on the hospital board of directors at STRMC and is the chief of staff of the Nix Hospital in 2010.
