Dr. Nandini Nagaraj, MD

Dr. Nandini Nagaraj is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology.  She graduated with distinction in the top 10 percentile in her final year of medical school.

She completed her internal medicine residency training at UT Houston/ MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.  After a year as a hospitalist at St. Mary's Medical Center in San Francisco, California she completed her gastroenterology fellowship training program at UTMB Galveston in Galveston, Texas.  Part of her training was spent at Baylor College of Medicine, Houston, Texas and in Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Ohio obtaining additional experience treating inflammatory bowel disease including crohn's disease and ulcerative colitis.

Dr. Nagaraj has published several articles in multiple medical journals including Gastrointestinal Endoscopy and has written a book chapter on inflammatory bowel disease in Bailey's textbook of surgery. She has presented at various national meetings including the American College of Gastroenterology Association annual meeting as well as at the Digestive Diseases Week annual meeting sponsored by AASLD, AGA, ASGE and SSAT. Her areas of interest include general gastroenterology/hepatology, inflammatory bowel disease and a special interest in colon cancer prevention.

Dr Nagaraj is a member of the American College of gastroenterology, American Gastroenterological Association, Texas Medical Association and Tarrant County Medical Society.

Dr. Nagaraj and her husband, along with their 2 children moved into Fort Worth in 2010.  She enjoys reading, music, and spending time and traveling with her family.
